Molly Bridges - Revenue Officer

Why I like working at Moorabool Shire Council…

Moorabool Shire Council is a work environment that has provided me with endless opportunities and continues to do so. Beginning my journey here at Council as the Financial Services Trainee, I was lucky enough to be heavily involved in the Finance and Revenue Team. I was then fortunate to extend my stay with Moorabool joining the Revenue Services Team as a full-time employee.

The amazing support during this transition was beyond anything I have ever experienced. At Council, specifically in my role, I am able to be constantly challenged in the best way possible. Learning new skills every day is something I always look forward to along with the variety of development opportunities. Currently we are undergoing a project in building and developing a new Property and Rating System to improve our positive impacts on the community from a financial standpoint. This has allowed me to build entirely new skills and ambitions as a young individual.

Along with the specific opportunities provided in the Revenue Services Team, the Learning and Development Team encourage and provide all staff training opportunities to enable individuals to build and flourish in the progression of our careers. And to save the best for last, the staff here are phenomenal!
