Drop off your green waste for FREE in November!
To assist residents with preparations for the upcoming fire season, Council will accept garden organics free of charge at all transfer stations in November. There is no restriction on the volume of green waste received from properties as long as it is received in a residential vehicle or trailer. Residents must show proof of residency such as a driver's licence or utility bill. No commercial customers will be accepted.

 

Accepted items include:

  • Undergrowth and fallen branches
  • Leaves from gutters
  • Grass
  NOT accepted:
  • Tree stumps
  • Branches over 200mm in diameter
  • Green waste mixed with garbage, recyclables, building materials or any other contaminant

Our native flora play a critical role in sustaining our local ecosystems. If you plan to remove, destroy or lop native vegetation you will likely need to apply for a planning permit.
