Balliang East Soldiers Memorial Hall

Balliang East Soldiers memorial Hall

Balliang East Soldiers Memorial Hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. It was originally erected in 1930 to commemorate those who served in WW1, and was rebuilt in the 1970's. Following the original hall being destroyed by fire in the early seventies, the new hall was rebuilt by the local community, with assistance from the then Werribee Shire Council, and a small amount of insurance money.

Balliang East Soldiers Memorial Hall has a capacity for 80 people. Hiring of this facility is managed by the Baliang East Soldiers Memorial Hall Committee of Management.
