Ballan Library bookmark competition

Ballan Library will be opening in 2025 and we'd love for the community to show what the Ballan Library will mean to you!.

Write, draw or decorate a bookmark template and show what the Ballan Library will mean to you.

Winning designs will be made into bookmarks, to be distributed in celebration of the 2024 CBCA Book Week. Each of the selected bookmarks will be reprinted for distribution in 2025 for the opening of the new Ballan Library.

Each winner will receive twenty (20) copies of their winning bookmark as well as a gift voucher to a local business.

Winners will be announced on Friday 21 August 2024.

Terms and conditions:

• Open to all ages;
• Each entry must be an original work, to be completed on the competition template or to the dimensions 70mm wide by 210mm high and submitted with a completed entry form.
• Moorabool Shire Council is authorised to display and publish all entries. Submitted entries will not be returned.
• Moorabool Libraries must receive each entry no later than Wednesday 31 July at 5pm.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All winning designs will be announced on Friday 21 August 2024.

How to submit your entries:

Submissions will be accepted at any Moorabool Shire Council Office or Library branch during opening hours.
