Disability Access and Inclusion Awards 2021
Moorabool Shire Council's Disability Access and Inclusion Awards 2021 are designed to publicly recognise and reward outstanding individuals, businesses and community organisations that promote access and inclusion and improve the lives of people with disability.
Nominations can be made for outstanding individuals or groups that live, work, study, volunteer or visit Moorabool Shire. Individuals, businesses and community organisations may nominate themselves.

Nomination Categories
The three nomination categories are as follows:
1. Access
Address common access barriers experienced by people affected by physical, cognitive, intellectual, neurological, sensory or mental health disability.
2. Service Delivery
Services that demonstrate best practice access and inclusion models that meet a variety of different needs and preferences. This may include existing or new initiatives.
3. Leadership and Innovation
Demonstrated initiative and innovation that raises awareness and influences others to value the contribution of people with disability.
How to Nominate
All nominations must be submitted on the prescribed Disability Access and Inclusion Awards Nomination Form. To download the form in Word format, please click here(DOCX, 87KB).
Entries are open now and the closing date has been extended until 21 November 2021. Finalists will be announced on 24 November 2021 with an awards ceremony to conclude on 3 December 2021. Details of the awards ceremony will be advised closer to the date.
