The Animal Pound provides a safe haven for lost and abandoned pets within our shire, as well as a very successful animal adoption program.

If you pet is impounded, fees apply prior to release.
You may also be liable for infringements, for your pet being at large and if it isn’t registered with Council.

Council's domestic animal pound is located in Osborne Street, Maddingley.
To drop off or pick up a pet please contact Council on (03) 5366 7100 between 8.30am and 5pm to arrange an appointment.
