No Interest Loans Scheme
No Interest Loans (NILs) are available to individuals and families on low incomes to access to safe, fair and affordable credit. Loans are available for essential goods and services such as fridges, washing machines, car repairs and medical procedures for up to $1,500. Repayments are set at an affordable amount over 12 to 18 months.

Escaping Violence Payment Program
The Escaping Violence Payment Program offers financial assistance and confidential support for people who have recently left a violent intimate partner.
From October 2021 the Federal Government provides women leaving a violent relationship access to a one-off payment of up to $5,000 to help them establish a life free of violence.
Under the two-year Escaping Violence Payment trial women will receive financial assistance of up to $1,500 in cash or vouchers, with the remainder available for goods and services or direct payments of bonds, school fees or other support services to help establish a safe home.

- help you set study and work goals
- meet with you regularly
- help you access services in the local community
- write a résumé and prepare for job interviews.
- find a course or work experience
- help you access financial support, including towards the costs of starting work or study.
You don’t have to look for work right now. However, it’s important to think about your study and work goals for when your children are school aged.
To be eligible you must be a parent or kinship carer with a child 6 years or younger and be receiving parenting payments.
